The Rapture of the Church

The word rapture is not found in the bible, however,  the phrase " caught up" is found.  The books  2Thes. and Revelation speak of the catching up of the church to meet Jesus in the air.  The bible tells us that we cannot know the day or the hour of His coming, but we can know the season ( the general time, or generation of His return).

Time is running out,  Time is spinning by very fast.  Are you ready for the rapture.  There will be a day when millions of people will disappear from the face of the earth.  Will you be one of them or will you be left behind to face the seven years of tribulation, which the bible speaks of.  While people still have breath within them there is still a chance to be "born again" and have your name written down in the Book of (Eternal)Life.

The Parable of the Ten Virgins

Matthew 25: 1 - 13 NIV

At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.  Five of them were foolish and five were wise.  The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any  oil with them.  The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their   lamps.  The bridegroom was a long time coming,  and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.  At midnight the cry rang out: "Here's the bridegroom !   Come out to meet him !" Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.   The foolish ones said to the wise,  "Give us some of your oil;  our lamps are going out."  "No",  they replied, "there may not be enough for both us and you.  Instead, "go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves."  But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived.  The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet.  And the door was shut.  Later the others also came.  "Sir ! Sir !" they said, " Open the door for us !"  But he replied, "I tell you the truth, I don't know you."  

Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

Be ready for that day and hour.  Don't be unprepared, be watching for His return.  There is people who think they are Christians, and call themselves Christians.  They go to church and are basically good people, but have never been born again.  It's true, they know about Jesus and know the bible, but have never allowed Him to be the savior of their soul.  They will be as the five unwise virgins.  Be ready and anticipate His soon return !

Revelation 6:1

No one is worthy to break the seals but the Lamb of God.:

The Four Horses of the Apocalypse comes forth from the seven seals.

Revelation 6:2

1)  The First Seal - The While Horse

a)  The rider has a bow and a crown on his head.

b)  THE ANTI-CHRIST.

Revelation 6:4

2)  The Second Seal - The Red Horse

a)  The rider has a sword. 

b)  He removes peace and bring war / slaughter.

Revelation 6:5

3)  The Third Seal - The Black horse

a)  The rider holds a pair of scales.

b)  He bring forth famine.

Revelation 6:8

4)  The Fourth Seal - The Pale Horse

a) A pale green horse carries a rider named death followed by the grave.

b)  25 % of the worlds population is killed.

Revelation 6:9

5)  The Fifth Seal

a)  Reveals the souls that were slain for God's Word.

b)  The martyred souls are given white robes and told to rest until the full number of Jesus' people are martyred.

6) The Sixth Seal

CATACLYSMIC WORLD EVENTS

a) The SUN darkens, the MOON turns red as blood, STARS rolled up like a scroll and taken away, MOUNTAINS and ISLANDS disappear.

b)  EARTHQUAKES, VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS with ash enough to darken the sky.  Tornadoes,  Hurricanes, and Tidal Waves   will be world wide.

c)  People on earth hide in caves and among rocks on the mountains because they're afraid of the WRATH OF THE LAMB.

d)  Four angels hold back the four winds

e)  144,000 marked with the seal of God - 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel - to evanlelize the earth.

f)  Numberless multitudes from every nation standing in front of the throne of the LAMB.

     1)  Their clothed in white.

     2)  They have palm branches in their hands.

This multitude of people came out of the Tribulation - could this be a possible 2nd rapture ?

     3)  All tears wiped away by God.

g)  The anti-christ seals his followers with (666).

Revelation 7:8 

7)  The Seventh Seal - Seven Angels To Sound Seven Trumpets

a)  The Angel of the Lord receives prayers from the Tribulation Saints and avenges their shed blood.

b)  An angel fills an incense burner with fire from the alter and throws it to earth - the result is thunder, lightning and a terrible earthquake.

c)  There is silence in Heaven for an half hour.  Revelation 8:1

The First Trumpet Is Sounded

POSSIBLE USE OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS ?

1)  Hail, fire, and blood are thrown to earth.

2)  Fire will burn 1/3 of the earth.  All the grass will be burned

The Secound Trumpet Is Sounded

1)  A great mountain of fire is cast into the sea.  (A METEOR) ?

2)  1/3 of the seawater turns to blood.

3)  1/3 of sealife is destroyed.

4)  1/3 of the ships at sea sink.  (A TIDAL WAVE) ?
